Intuchem Fire Resistant Mortar is a one pack synthetic mortar to retard the passage of flames, heat and smoke for up to 4 hours in the event of a fire.

This fire rated mortar is based on anhydrite calcium sulphate and designed to provide a load bearing or non-load bearing fire barrier. Contains no fibers, halogens, solvents, silicone or free added silica.

Intuchem Fire Resistant Mortar expands while curing to create a seal around the installed services and bond with surrounding masonry.

Once mixed the mortar can be re-activated for up to 2 hours by re-mixing with small quantities of water every 30 minutes.

After initial installation services can be easily added or modified and resealed with further mortar.

Where plastic pipes pass through the mortar, Intuchem Pipe Wraps should be used.

Sound reduction is 46dB at 100mm thickness.
